Although the fall has been here officially for a few days, yesterday was the first day I woke up and sensed a real change in the air. The ground was wet from a light rain, the air felt fresh and cool, but not yet cold. I could hear the birds, chirping happily from the relief of too many hot, dry days in succession. My heart leapt, fall is really here! Soon I will be able to wear my tights and cozy sweaters, and do all sorts of fun fall activities, like crafting, cooking, and reveling outside in the glory of fall.
